Postage and packing

 

For standard deliveries to our UK (mainland) customers, postage and packing charges will be applied at £2.50 for the first book and £1 for each subsequent book

 

For UK non-mainland postage and packing charges will be applied at £3.50 for the first book and  £1.50 for each subsequent book

 

For European customers postage and packing charges will be applied at £5.50 for the first book and £3 for each subsequent book

 

Charges for the rest of world are £6 for the first book and £4 for each subsequent book

 

Delivery

 

As a general guide, dispatched items are usually delivered according to the guidelines below.

 

United Kingdom: 2 days

Europe: 512 days

Rest of world: 1020 days

Ordering

 

Crimson Publishing will email you with confirmation of the receipt and acceptance of your order. Crimson Publishing at its sole discretion may rescind acceptance, in whole or in part, of any order containing incorrect information, whether this results from technical malfunction or any other cause, or in cases where the order is in conflict with the conditions of purchase.

 

Items on one order are sent to the same delivery address.

 

Items that have not been published and have more than 1 month until publication date cannot be purchased on the site. These items can be pre-ordered and we will email you when the titles are available.

 

Credit/debit card payment

 

The customer's card is debited at the time of processing the purchase by PayPal.

 

After reviewing order details in the shopping cart, the customer may opt to proceed to payment. The customer will in this case be conveyed to a PayPal secure site. After entering their credit card details into this screen, the customer receives a message from PayPal as to the success or failure of their transaction and is then conveyed back to the Crimson Publishing site.

 

Crimson Publishing does not have access to customer card details at any time.

 

Refunds will be transacted by PayPal on behalf of Crimson Publishing

 

Data is encrypted for the customer's safety. Crimson Publishing cannot be held responsible for a security failure originating with PayPal or other suppliers.

 

Cancellation

 

You may cancel your order, in part or in whole, within 30 days of its dispatch (or within eight working days of receiving the goods) by contacting us on 020 8326 5620 Monday to Friday, 9.30am5.00pm (GMT) or info@portfoliobooks.com. If your order has already been shipped, please refer to Returns and refunds below.

 

In the event of an order not being fulfilled due to the title being out of stock, an e-mail will be sent to the customer advising when they can expect to receive their order.

 

In the event of an order not being fulfilled due to the title not being published yet, an e-mail will be sent to the customer advising when they should expect to receive their purchase.

 

Returns and refunds

 

The refunds terms and conditions do not affect the customer's statutory rights.

 

Returns are accepted for any reason within the 30-day guarantee period (beginning on the date on the dispatch form) or within 8 working days of receiving goods. Customers returning goods are advised to use registered post or recorded delivery, as Crimson Publishing cannot issue refunds for returned items lost in transit.

 

Please do the following:

· Make a note for your reference of the order number and item number/ISBN(s) given on the confirmation email

· Contact our Customer Services Centre Portfolio Books on 020 8326 5620 or info@portfoliobooks.com who will advise you where to return your item

· Where possible, return the item(s) with the original despatch note and in the original packaging.

 

Please note that Crimson Publishing will not refund returns postage and packing charges except in the demonstrable event that the customer has received an unordered item, an item damaged in transit, or a faulty item.

 

Refunds are normally processed within a week of receipt of the returned item or within 30 days of cancellation. Where refunds are requested, the Customer Services Manager will search the customer's order record to prevent instances of fraudulent requests.

 

We will do our best to provide replacement copies of undelivered or returned items when requested, but Crimson’s only obligation will be to refund purchase costs.

 

Supply

 

Crimson Publishing reserves the right at its sole discretion not to supply certain customers, or customers in certain countries, or to apply any limitations of quantity or value deemed appropriate.
